About Emily 〰️

I'm Emily and I work with Mums to give them the tools to reconnect with themselves and improve their sense of wellbeing.

After having my baby and experiencing my own matrescence I am passionate about using my skills to support mums to feel heard and validated in their experiences.

Becoming a mum is one of the biggest life transitions we can go through; it is intense and challenging in ways that we can’t prepare ourselves for, even if it’s not your first child there is an adjustment with each baby.

Qualifications & experience

I am a qualified counsellor (FdA Counselling) with 3 years of experience including 2 years of private practice and 1 year of telephone counselling with Bath Mind.

I have completed further training in postnatal depression and birth trauma.

How I Work

I work online and face-to-face in Bristol. Babes 'in arms' are welcome to join if that makes coming to sessions easier for you.

I can offer short-term or long-term therapy, we can discuss what is right for you in our initial call.

I am an integrative therapist and I tailor my approach to your needs. But at the core of my work, I am there to support you by listening and I can also guide you with some practical tools if that would be helpful.
