About Jesse 〰️
Hello! I’m Jess, a perinatal psychologist providing compassionate and support and gold-standard evidence-based therapies for parents and families through pregnancy, birth, and the early years.
I understand that this period can be a time of profound change and emotional intensity. Whether you’re managing your toddler’s behavioural difficulties, navigating the complexities of becoming a parent, dealing with past or present trauma, or facing difficulties in your relationships, I’m here to help.
My passion lies in creating a safe and nurturing space, understanding the strengths and expertise that you bring to therapy, and equipping you with the tools you need to move forward.
Qualifications & Experience
Perinatal and Early Years Psychologist in private practice
Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist in the NHS
Over 10 years of clinical practice experience, professional registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), and adherence to the professional and ethical standards outlined by the British Psychological Society (BPS)
Extensive training and experience with trauma, perinatal adjustment and women’s mental health
How I Work
I offer a safe, confidential space, and interventions based on the latest psychological evidence, tailored to your unique needs. Interventions include postnatal and perinatal therapeutic approaches, cognitive-behavioural, relationship-based, and trauma-informed therapies.
I believe that therapy should go beyond talking and help you to really experience change. I draw on visual and creative aids for exploring patterns and psychological concepts, play-based interventions/advice-assisted techniques, life-review interventions, and processes for reprocessing memories and ingrained patterns of thinking and behaviour, and body-based practices, amongst other strategies, to bring sessions to life.
